Instructions:
The features have been broken down into 7 categories. For each category there is a summary of how that category is supported by each vendor. You can view these at any point by clicking the “Show Category Summary” button.

You can rate the importance of each feature by clicking on the “Show Survey Choices” button. This will allow you to go through each category and rate each benefit's level of importance. Based on your personal rating, the graph above will show which tools support the specific features.

The graph will then help you see which tool might fit your needs and therefore allow you to focus more specifically on evaluating that tool.

*** This matrix is not meant to be a stand-alone solution to choosing a tool.  There are many other factors to consider including current architecture, scalability and resources.  This exercise is meant to provide you with a comparison based solely on features and benefits.  A thorough blueprint analysis should be performed when implementing any new business intelligence solution.
