Performance Manager XI
When trying to create Set Analyzer Metrics, the Set Universe displays. However, when creating the metric, the measures do not display as Set objects. The icon looks like a typical measure icon (a pink circle) and not a set measure icon (a clock).
Cause
The class name for your Set Universe needs to match the name of the subject in Set Analyzer. If these names do not match, you will not see the objects in your Universe as Set objects. For example, if you subject was defined in Set Architect as Customers and your Universe class name is Customer, the objects in the class will not display as Set objects.
To resolve this behavior, complete all of the following steps:
- Launch Designer.
- Import the Universe you are using for your Set metrics.
- Change the class name (on the left side) so that it matches the subject as defined in Set Architect.
- Export your Universe.
- Go into Performance Management > Setup > System Setup > Universes and highlight the Set universe.
- Select the Update Metrics and Control Charts Definitions check box for and then click Update
- You should now see the updated class name for the Universe. If you do not see the change, log off of InfoView and then log on again.
- Create your metric again and the objects will have set icons.
