In some low security environments, where a large group may need to see the same series of reports and don’t wish to login manually, you can incorporate login security information into a URL.
Solution
Follow the following formula in your URL construction (Note the items in bold) -
http://servername/crn/cgi-bin/cognos.cgi?b_action=xts.run&CAMUsername= administrator &CAMPassword= test &h_CAM_action=logonAs&CAMNamespace= <namespaceid> &m=portal/cc.xts&m_tab=w
