Synopsis
How do you setup a default folder that all users will see when they login?
Solution
Short solution:
Indeed you can by modifying the system.xml
Long solution:
Go to folder c:\Program Files\cognos\crn\templates\ps\portal or where ever your crn directory is located.
Open the system.xml file
Save a copy of the system.xml
Add the following line - <param name="consumer-root">/content/package[@name='<insert package>']/folder[@name='<insert folder>']</param> (Provided with help of Cognos Technical Support)
Restart the service
