Xcelsius stops responding or terminates unexpectedly. What are some possible causes and resolutions?

Cause

The following is a list of possible causes: 

• If you receive an error message when Crystal Xcelsius has stopped responding, see if there are any embedded .swf files. There may be an issue with the .swf file.
• If Crystal Xcelsius terminates while it is being launched, the temp folder may be full.
• The computer may have an older version of Crystal Xcelsius installed.
• There have been changes or upgrades made to Microsoft Office.

Solution

The following is a list of workarounds: 

• If there is an issue with the embedded .swf file, un-embed it.
• If the Temp folder is full, empty it.
• If you have an older version of Crystal Xcelsius, upgrade to a newer version.
• If any changes or upgrades have been made to Microsoft Office, reinstall Crystal Xcelsius.
